We accept pitches from everyone. We’re especially interested in where artificial intelligence meets ordinary life: education and the future of work, data centers and affordability, and how AI is changing the way people connect with one another. We’re looking for writing that takes the future seriously, explores what this technology could open up, and how more people can help shape it.
What we publish
- Article600–1,000 wordsEssays, reported pieces, case studies, histories, and practical guides.
- Research note1,000–2,000 wordsA new finding, original analysis, or a close examination of one policy.
- White paper3,000–6,000 wordsPitch us before writing. We sometimes support promising proposals with a grant and an Inevitable Frontier fellowship.
How to pitch
Send us a short introduction and a paragraph or two about the piece. Tell us what you want to argue or report, what evidence you’ll draw on, and what the reader should understand by the end.
If we take it on, we’ll work on it with you until it’s ready to publish.
